One standout feature of Astute Furnishings is its above-average consignment rates for original owners. If a piece of furniture or other item is sold within 30 days, the original owner receives 60% of the proceeds. Most other consignment stores in Cincinnati offer 50% or less.

If the item is sold within 30 to 60 days, the original owner receives 50% of the proceeds, which is still higher than many other consignment stores which discount or decrease the split after 30 days.

Located in Mason, This N That Consignments sells brand new and consigned furniture and home decor for many different tastes and styles. For consigned furniture, they offer a 50/50 revenue split while they offer a 40/60 split for home decor if the owner delivers it to the store.

This N That Consignments will pick up furniture if needed, though this will cost you an extra 10% of the revenue. Owners will only get 40% of the selling price while This n That will keep 60% to cover the cost of pickup.

Additionally, orders that are picked up but not sold within 60 days are donated to the store to cover pickup costs.

Founded in 1976, Habitat for Humanity continues to build, renovate, and repair homes for over 5 million people across the world.

One way Habitat supports its mission to eliminate substandard living conditions is with its ReStores.

At each ReStore location, you’ll find a large and diverse display of new and used furniture, home appliances, building supplies, cabinets, construction materials, tools, and household accessories.

Unlike consignment stores, Habitat for Humanity is a donation-based non-profit and tax-exempt charity.

While this means you won’t get a piece of the proceeds for donating your furniture, you can get a tax deduction when you make donations to a ReStore location near you.
